The app feels like a natural extension of the universe they’re creating around real love. The idea of collecting a balloon and not being able to talk to anyone else once you’ve matched really sold me. It feels intentionally counter-cultural compared to most dating apps
I actually love that feature. If you match, all other conversations pause. You’re forced to focus on that one person and really get to know them. A lot of apps don’t do that, and people get distracted. This makes dating more intentional.
I’m glad they’re doing this. Their model clearly works, and I hope they’re able to continue to translate it into an app that genuinely benefits people.
